Who tearfully nursed my fever when jaundice gave a call.I say You! Whom without, I never would have been!

You! Who whistled happily while ironing my petite pinafore.You! Who joyfully spent your last dime just to make my first basket full.You! Whose chest was bursting with pride when I received my first award.I mean You! who framed my first letters in gilt!

You! Who braided my hair and stitched my dress.You! Who washed my bruise and plastered my cut.You! Who soothed my fears and dried my tears.I repeat You! Who was there when no one else was!

You! Who guided me through the journey to adulthood.You! Who loved me through my rebel teenage days.You! Who I couldn't have come this far without.And so I declare You! My jewel of inestimable value!
