Modi Saheb Poem by Bijay Kant Dubey

Modi Saheb

Modi Saheb, thank you
For calling Obama,
Waiting for so earnestly,
Shaking the hands,
Giving a warm hug
Soulfully
And I loved to see
An old man
You in the white hairs,
A mature premier
With knowledge and understanding
But his was a speech
Of American diplomacy,
A younger, short-haired Obama
Smiling and waving at,
Going smartly,
Taking the salute
Cautioning against
The mix up
With the rightist organizations,
Asking to be tempered,
Tolerant and bearing
And hinting towards the gender boa
And equity,
Selective sex abortions,
Patriarchal affinities and affiliations
And the resultant rape and violence
Asking to be secular and socialistic,
Before leaving for Saudi Arabia
To express condolences
To the royal family
Rather than asking it to be secular.
