Modern Day Criticism Poem by Daniel Cherenet

Modern Day Criticism

Rating: 5.0

broken promises and forgoten dreams
as i walk through the garden of life
these hateful seeds get planted, and grow by the day
i wonder if this world would change
with the fear of looking fear in its eye
i take another step and learn to trust olny to be played
agiain, like everyone that had me had their poker face on.

as i soon realize i can't continue this way of life i see a new road open, this road was wider and had more option than most, it had that feeling

like someone was waiting for you at the end of the road and once you
start the road the only way back was to go and learn from your mistakes

walking through this road i feel a sense of nakedness, i stumbled and fell but

each time i came back with more force to shake up an earthquake, plenty wishes were made and many were granted, if only i saved all those quarters i could probably feed Africa by now

we all want what we see so a blind man wants what he needs and the deaf is intelligent because
this new slang is just water of ignorance that we replenish ours souls with, if i was in the position of controlling this
i would buy that ocean and bottle it up and drink away my sorrows and watch my life empty out, twisted dreams and complex fantasies is what
its about

fancy cars on the road make you never want to walk again but we spend more money on gas than food so the car get bette fuel than us
this new era is one hat i just cant fit in, dances about skinny jeans and snapbacks make you wonder if their is hope for music
modern day music is just intelligent noise composed by and deaf man, but if i could wish for one more thing it would be to transform into mockingbird
so i can show the world their ignorance and maybe they'll comeback
