Mocking Bird Poem by Dragon Crenshaw

Mocking Bird

Rating: 4.5

Mocking Bird,
Mocking Bird,
High in the tree,
Why do you always mock me?

I try to talk,
But you just mock.
I try to yell,
But you just tell.

Mocking Bird,
Mocking Bird,
High in the tree,
Why do you always mock me?

I try to be nice,
And give you ice.
I try to be good,
And give you food.

Mocking Bird,
Mocking Bird,
High in the tree,
Can you please leave me?

I didn't do anything,
Except fling,
A book,
Cause that's what it took.

You flew away,
Until one day,
You started mocking me,
High in your tree.

Mocking Bird,
Mocking Bird,
High in your tree,
What did I do to thee?

A book is all it took,
To kill thee,
And stop mocking me.

Mocking Bird,
Mocking Bird,
Dead on the ground,
Being eaten by a hound.

I tried to tell you,
I know you knew,
That I said stop mocking me,
But you still mocked me.

Mocking Bird,
Mocking Bird,
Dead on the ground,
You'll never bring me down...
