The day still dawns as normal
And as nightime follows day
The world is still evolving
Though you have gone away

Life is hard to fathom
Some decisions hard to bare
We still have trouble believing
That dads no longer there.

Those words of wisdom whispered
That hand that showed the way
The one who new us best of all
We miss more and more each day.

We always will remember those years we had with you.
And on this first anniversary
Our thoughts are just of you.
