Misjudgement



The twinkle visible in her eye
That I saw and misunderstood
Feeling I thought was mutual
Soon the other way that stood
It just was my misjudgment
My emotions had withstood
For no fault of the either side
Bitterness neither could avoid
Now we know how silly it was
Big laugh neither could avoid
