Misguided Emotions Poem by Kristy Artmann

Trodden with hurtful behaviors and misguided antagonism
Expounded with misery from it all; it is evident on my face
Can’t believe I let it happen…
Again and again….
Don’t ask me why I allow it to go on
Don’t ask me why I can’t let go
Don’t ask me why I pushed the good away
Without knowing how I feel inside
I’m a bottle of emotion unleashed into the world
Not knowing how to control it
I digress and go astray from what is enjoyable
No one can stop it now; don’t even bother to try
