Miserable Day Poem by Elia Michael

Miserable Day

Rating: 4.0

Today the wind is shaking the tree tops
Making crashing noises like lots and lots
Of sea shells shaken in a big glass jar
Fierce wind dances with rain in the air

Everything around is the greyest grey
No bright sunny gleams or sky azure
All around depicts a dreary dark day
But I'm home by my red glowing fire

It is a day to befriend comfort food
Maybe an unmeasured glass of wine
Turn up the hi-fi really quite loud
Let the wind moan angrily, let it whine!
