Mirror, Mirror On The Wall, Who Is The Worst Off Of Them All? Poem by Mordrid Harpoon

Mirror, Mirror On The Wall, Who Is The Worst Off Of Them All?

Rating: 5.0

Mirror, mirror on the wall,
Who is the worst off of them all?
I am constantly forced to think
I know that it cannot be me,

I know worse off, I’ve heard them scream,
I’ve seen their tears, I’ve felt them squeam.
I cannot help feeling this way,
And in this chair is where I stay,

I have been told time and again,
“There are many worse off than you”
I’ve always thought, “It can’t be true! ”
They always say, “It’s just a faze.
Don’t worry it will pass in time”
Sarcastically I just reply,
“Calm down, fear not, I am sublime.”

They never take my comments well,
But I don’t care, just screw them all!
They’ve all left me, I am secluded!
Pointless, forlorn, my spirit dead,
Although I know that it’s not true,
I’ve always felt alone.
