Mirror Mirror Poem by Burnt Ashes

Mirror Mirror

Mirror mirror on the wall,
who stands before you, she who falls.
Who can answer, none but she,
Though even the girl cannot see,
who stands within the open space, she stares and sighs
Heart quickens pace watching the shadow's loom
on the stranger's face.
Her lips ruby red against snow skin,
sapphire eyes that drew her in,
as her mind begged the question,
that her brain felt was destined,
to conquer her fears,
and battle her tears.
She opens her lips terrified of more lies,
as she asks herself 'Who the hell am I? '
