~mirror, Mirror~ Poem by E Nigma

~mirror, Mirror~

So easily forgotten how things used to be
Just how much I hated you
7 years a curse, a reflections destruction
The enemy looking back at me

Avoiding all I wanted
Seeking comfort far away
Lonesome by my own right
Day after day

If beauty is in the eye of the beholder
Then why belittle me
I want to be held like any other
Not a scene of mockery

Sometimes time changes things
Rearranges needs where want becomes greed
I've seen the track on both sides and green is green

Like my eyes full of deceit
Looked at a mirror today
Remembering that I hated you
When all along you were loving me
