Miranda Poem by adam palmquist

Miranda

The stronger I grab you the more you hurt

for I still want to show you my love, but death grips deep into your ribs as I do.

My feelings burn from love to hate.

I try to remember the face that once loved me, but that girl is dead and I am tired.

I can't stay in limbo for you.

For you live in a world of angst and fear, you never let yourself bleed in front of
others.

my heart is a paper boat, you slashed it in two and now it screams towards colder waters.
