Miracles Happen Poem by Stephen Katona

Miracles Happen

We both live at twenty-seven,
In a match made in heaven.
Your dog had the name of our cat,
How unlikely is that?
My paddle and canoe,
Were South African like you.
We had the same work.
Was I going berserk?
We had poems to share.
Their magic filled the air.
We're so similar I think,
Even sleep when we drink.
How we came to dance,
Might not just be chance.
You were told life would change,
Is it a miracle or just strange?
