Miracle Poem by Anil Kumar Panda

Miracle

A bud in the pot
In the vast canvas of life
Shines like a resplendent dot

A lotus in the pond
Struggles to rise from the mud
Stands head up sans shed of a frond

A bird in the sky
In the life span of a few years
Maps the earth before it falls to die

An ant in the fields
Walks miles carrying loads
With tireless work a miracle it builds

A butterfly in the garden
Flits from flower to flower
Weave with its sibling bright pattern

The earth in the universe
Holds in her lap teeming millions
Never weeps under the incessant rush
