Minority Report. Poem by Hardik Vaidya

Minority Report.

It is not criminal to be alone,
Less in numbers, miniscule.
A drop in the ocean
It is not necessary to be a face
In the crowd.

I differ
You differ,
We cherish different values
Mine represented by me alone
A child walking unsteady
On the shore, margin of your majority
The roar and vigour of your number
Wash away my foot prints
No sooner they were formed
I am left alive
Alone, despite your infinite vast

Minority is not being minor
Its is a deliberate natural adult stand
Different,
Sexuality, Fashion, Literature, Thoughts
values, and a million others.
All stringed like pearls of wisdom
On the thread of freedom.

Freedom you won for your own,
By allowing the lone
A part of you, embodied
In the minor, minuscule, little insignificant
That roams free.
