Miniature Ufos (Fun Poem 157) Poem by David Harris

Miniature Ufos (Fun Poem 157)

I saw a small flying saucer
zip passed my window.
A little yellow dot
that then stopped
and hovered for a while.
Soon several more joined it
in the invasion of my garden
where they buzzed around
here and there.
I decided to catch these invaders
before they decided to multiply anymore.
Grabbing up a tiddler's net
I raced around the garden
catching them one by one,
until I looked at what I caught.
They weren't a group of miniature UFOs,
but a gathering of fireflies.
