**mine Blast Poem by Sadiqullah Khan

**mine Blast

Rating: 2.5

He talked very fiercely
He knew every line in the file
He had known that nothing good shall come
His way
He had pride in his voice
Irritable
Uneasy
Impatient
He followed the rules
Waited long
Discussed at length
He would evoke a sense of rejection
He was carrying some extra burden
He had not forgotten
What had happened to him
He would make others angry
His wife and children would wait
For him
For some good news
He was like the lame in the pack
Of wolves
For others to take revenge on him
He was a soldier
Who had lost a limb
In a mine blast
