I never cheated
I never lied
You know as well as i do
I always tried
I was always there
but you where never here
love is like a game at the fair
you never win
you always lose
and because of that
I sing the blues
You never loved
I could see the clues
You cheated
that wasnt news
it was simple to see
that you and me
could never be
you were yellow
and i was blue
we couldnt make green
because of you

You should have took my hand
at least for a day
We could have hit the milkshake parlor
and drank away
we could have flew like two love birds
in the sky
we didnt wanna make a scene
so we didnt fly

and i hope you let me in
because your heart
is all i need to win

I dont need money
