Miles Away Poem by Keith Wells

Miles Away

Rating: 5.0

Miles away
This is my dismay
For my wife is miles away

In a time of need
There is no greed
I try to find away
So I am not miles away

Miles separate us
We rely on trust
This is a must
I miss her so much
I feel like I will bust

She is my life
She is my wife
I need her near
To wipe her tear

She is 11 hours
650 miles
Away today

I will see her
In 1 week or two
I am so blue
This is true

I miss you dear
I want you to hear
I love you dear

Come home soon
So our flowers will bloom

COMMENTS OF THE POEM

I miss you too babe and wish you could be here with me so we can mourn together. I miss your arms, your smile, and the way you can tell me (in person) everything will be ok- and me believing it whole-heartedly. I am so sorry you have to miles away, but in my heart you are right here holding me.... I love you! !
