Migrants Poem by Luwi Habte

Migrants

Rating: 4.2

From I reborn, now for the second time
I am going far away from home
Instead of celebrating ceremonies with my family
My life is disturbing, people interfere daily

Why should a person stay away from home early?
Can’t able to see his family before he reach twenty
Isn’t it a pain? This is what I am suffering for
A harmful pain in the world, which comes before and before

Even though I am keeping on holding on
I can’t turn back home, can’t be on
I am the one suffering lonely
Because am the one away from home early!

God forbid migration!

What you have said is heart rending. Keep writing on those lines. The world needs to know what it is doing to its citizens.-destroying peace and happiness and blighting young lives. No one has a right to displace another and every young person growing up should be supported and nurtered.

Little girl, I share your feelings. Life is like this. Let us hope for an early re-union. One thing. Man is a product of circumstances and so he can adjust with new surroundings but it will take its own time. At the moment, you are in the stage of evolution. May god bless you.
