Midsummer Heat

Mid summer heat

cicadas in the trees

afternoon sun and a cool breeze

lazy saturday

ten hours sleep with dreams

work left satisfactorily behind

butterflies on the bush

neighbours goats in the yard

rice pilaf, kurma with cabbage on the stove

house smells of cinnamon and cloves

4G connectivity at last

"Heaven"—is what I cannot reach!
The Apple on the Tree—
Provided it do hopeless—hang—
That—"Heaven" is—to Me!
