Midsommardagen Poem by Pasquale DiMeola

Midsommardagen

Seven different flowers under their pillow
Gathered by the fair maidens of Sweden
Dreaming under shadows of weeping willow
For a man from the Garden of Eden

Whomsoever among us could ever forcast
Whether one succeeds or miserably fails
Would a stem protect the petal whose last
Clinging arrival of love's aptness hails!
