Midnight Walk Poem by Jessica Stubbs

Midnight Walk

I walk in the night
I take in the sights
I listen to the sound
Of the howling of the hounds
I feel the breeze
That rustles the leaves
I breathe in the air
I smell all the scents
And I feel everything inside of me
Building and building till it steeps
and I walk away
With a numbness in my brain
And I feel alright
I feel alright
Tonight
