I laid and stared at the sky for a day
Watch as it turned to gray
And no matter what I would do or say
The color just drifted away
But I smiled cause everything would be okay
We all got problems and obstacles we go threw
But never got someone to be their to hold you
And protect you from the pain
I'll be the umbrella that shields you from the rain
And I'll be the hand that helps you threw the storm
I'll be blanket that keeps you warm
And If you ever feel alone just close your eyes
Cause then you'll realize

This world is a lonely place
Fueled by an ambitious race
Where our love
Just isn't enough
But with you I can get threw it
I love you don't act like you never knew it
