Midnight Blue Rendezvous Poem by Patricia Gale

Midnight Blue Rendezvous

Rating: 5.0

In the midnight blue lay beside me
A soft blanket upon the ground
The crickets shall play us a serenade
A deep low sound from the creek near by
Nature’s orchestra for our midnight rendezvous

Take me in your arms and feel my melting heart
Moonbeams dance round about two shadows
Slowly and tenderly uniting becoming passion’s fire
Love me beneath the dark blue
Make the stars shine from my eyes

Let me hold you beneath blue skies
And whisper stay until the robins sing
Waken with me to morning light
See the beauty peak as she greets
Love made from the midnight blue
