Midnight Blizzard Poem by Courtney Beaudry

Midnight Blizzard

Rating: 3.5

This is my place of snow
This is where i have grown so cold
Pale, alone and afraid
For this is the creation that you have made

One mistake for me to fall
You've crushed one heart
You've crushed them all
So now the snow falls upon my head
It has a mind of it's own
It falls leisurely on my bed

Sleep offers no comfort
Only dread
No nothing happy of the sort
Now I cannot retire to the safety of my bed

Will you come again yes or not
Today or tommorrow
Or am I left to drown in my sorrow
In snow I cannot have what I sought
