Midday Combat Poem by Ferdinand L Quintos

Midday Combat

Just came from a hand-to-hand fight,
I did not feel a tinge of fright,
the fight was for my right to life
after I came from hardships rife,
that was a fight to the finish
with two pieces of fresh-grilled fish
