Metaphysical Martyr Poem by James Darwin Smith II

Metaphysical Martyr

A martyr knows of no price
Gold is for the brutes of ego dwelling
Never once a valuable asset
To that for which whom sacrifices everything
In the name of all peace and love

No hate, No violence
A martyr with the rejected and ignored
Giving love as much as it can be given
Giving love with strong understanding
Always supporting those who are judged the most

Dedicated to the poor and depressed
Never passing judgement to any of them at all
Lifting up those who are down
Guiding them as high as they can go

A true martyr never stands for one religion
Even those without any are surely loved
Never burning away any history
Unconditional to all
No matter whom they may be
Below, Left to right and of course all of everything above

Wear fancy things
Spend all of what you may
If your heart and soul have never been golden
Than your mind will always live in the grave

Who is a true martyr?
Perhaps a metaphor for a hopeful awakening

One never has to believe in a particular something
As long as their moral shows them the way

Love triumphs everything
Wish the narrow minded bullies would just go away!
