Mestizos Poem by Nassy Fesharaki

Mestizos

Mestizos

Latinos dance the best
Tango is among them
I stand in corner
And observe.

My mind tours, travels:
'Watch, enjoy and question;
who are they? "

A voice says: "The bastards."

Means to say: "The Rebels, "
Mestizos born to rape
Indian the women;
invaders were the men.

I wonder: "is their dance similar to Atan
(Pashtuns' dance) , Taliban's? "

"Sort of yes, sort of no, "
Said to me Gabriel.
