Merry Christmas Poem by Anil Kumar Panda

Merry Christmas

Rating: 5.0

In the middle of the night
When silence rules all over the land
With moon gets reflected from
Bright snow covering water and sand

When a bright star appears
On the sky by the side of the Moon
The wind pushes the clouds
To deposit them along dark horizon

When from swinging fronds
Beads of pearl get strewn on the path
A cry of joy rises from a church
Where people gathered to witness a birth

Of a child with a heart of gold
Who to the world showed peace and love
On this Christmas night
He won't forget to bless us from above

Come, let us decorate our
Homes, barns, Churches, lanes and streets
On this auspicious night
Make the earth glow with colorful lights
