Meri Behen Kash Tum (Hindi)

Meri Behen Kash tum mere kareeb hothi
Aur meri kalai main rakhi bandh pathi.
Aaj ka din bilkul khali laga mujko
Meri toh koi behen hi nahi hai, aisa laga
Par kya karon, kuch kar nahi saktha
Jab naseeb hi aisa hai mera.
Yeh duniya ne nah koi dost diya
Aur ek behen ka pyar bhi nahi diya.
O Mere Khuda, kya chathe ho aap mujse?
Maine aise kya galti ki hai?
Yeh akela pan aab door kar doh
Kash, meri ek pyarey se behen hothi
Jo, mujpe vishwas karthi aur bolti ki main uska sabse pyara bhai hoon
Pyarey behen, kash tum mere kareeb hothi.

How restlessly they speed, and gleam, and quiver,
Streaking the darkness radiantly!--yet soon
