Mera Dard

mera dard ek dard hai
meri rahen bas mera ek pharz hai
jise mai naa chahte hue bhii
pana chahta hun
mai kabhi nhi pahunchuga apni manzil tak
aisa mujhe dar hai
jo wqt guzar gaya wahi mera gam hai
maii naa chahte hue bhi kisi aur
manzil tak ghaseet taa chla jaunga
kisi ko khushi to kisi ko rulaunga
mera dil mujh se baar baar kahega
ki 'abii' ye hi zindagi hai..

poet John Clare

I love to see the old heath's withered brake
Mingle its crimpled leaves with furze and ling,
While the old heron from the lonely lake
Starts slow and flaps its melancholy wing,
