Mendicant Heart Poem by jerome moore

Mendicant Heart

polarity of reptiles
rubicon of evolution
mendicant heart
fear of money
survival and dominion over finite resources
equation of surviving with overindulgence
consumer perception
control of circles
our female sun

and the moon was inverted
as if the Earth rolled over on its side
and I let out a sigh
