Men Of Letters Poem by Terence George Craddock (Spectral Images and Images Of Light)

Men Of Letters

Rating: 5.0

strange
when men of letters
skilled in deep meanings

workers in words
are lost for words
incapable of comment

cannot adequately critique
a new immerging artist
tone never before reviewed

a young Walt Whitman
drug crazed Steven King
or solemn Edgar Allan Poe

ambiance atmosphere
defies commonplace
customary classifications

COMMENTS OF THE POEM
Mark Nwagwu 13 April 2010

i was searching my name on the web and came across this reference that led me to your work - that no one critiques your work - men of letters they are. This is well written, speaks volumes, invites immediate comment (from someone not necessarily in 'men of letters'.) i love it for its immediacy that prompted my comment
