Men Can'T Win Everything Poem by Dominic George

Men Can'T Win Everything

Whose men except those in the military
Can match the deep friendship of firemen
Genuine care and heart towards everybody
The same uniform, women and men
Perhaps it's the rigid training and reality
Life continuation is no guarantee
When situation calls for confrontation
Against mad flames raging to burn

When situation calls for confrontation
Against mad flames raging to burn
Everybody knows the protocol
Firemen follow the leader's calls
Hoping no life be wasted to the flame
Failure can make them sad and ashamed

Now, we recall the firemen for other reasons too
Because amongst them there are these two
Who'd been best buddies bonded by the badge
Something all firemen have heartedly pledge
It's just natural that they back each other through
But this thing called friendship always grow through
It can lead to diverse image
Possibly create a new life page

These two gentlemen are the mockery
They're the Adam and Steve
Opposed to the Adam and Eve
They love each other tenderly
Something that has developed gradually
Out of care and brotherly love initially
They're caught in a different kind of flame
Combusted in their human desires to frame
Ardent union of the physical and cerebral realm

But they're fire-MEN!
There's no time for the diversion
Collectively there's a bigger concern
That all fire-fighters contain like urn
So the candy thing must be suppressed
It's probably for the best
Against possible varied opinions
The diversions may affect their judgment

After all they are our special heroes
Whom we appreciate only sometimes
If possible we'd dictate their dos and don'ts
Their lives are partially ours
