Men and Trees

We are like old trees,
We grow for many years before death,
We grow wise too late.

This is like Gaia theory it is unable to be proven, conscious decisions aside, all actions affect the outcome and therefore no controlled input can be monitored as a control or independent of that determinant or incidental. Predisposed we are, but things and wisdom orbit our pithy core as aged tree rings.
