Men? Poem by Ravi Prakash Sharma

Men?

What are they doing,
with our children's lives.
Giving them guns,
at the age of Five.

Teaching them to throw grenades,
calling men, his three wickets.
Is this how we play,
our decent game of cricket?

The land of Muhammad
has been torn apart,
By men claiming,
to have a so called heart.

The land of christ,
is not his at last, aah!
as, the clerics are outnumbered by royal guards.
Who try to protect, the sacred land,
keeping a tab of the second's hand,
and (believe me, my friend) they really work very hard,
to protect His land from our own wrath.

See,
What they did to,
our saffron land.
Painted it red,
Just on their leader's command?

Tell me,
Who are they?
What's their religion?
Do they really have a rational vision?

My lord, wake up-
Pick up your broom,
call back these Men,
who have never been properly groomed.
