Memory Lanes Poem by Tirupathi Chandrupatla

Memory Lanes

Rating: 4.3

I keep searching
Thru the labyrinth
Of memory lanes
Hidden in the mind.

I find streets
That I don't recall
In my life on
A day to day basis.

Those uncovered lanes
Bring some lines
To put on the page
To form a poem.

For a good poem
Invariably one must
Dig deep into dark
Regions of memory.

Very true - when the life is bored, tired and cheesed off then only one object can give a little solace or peace that is by going down the memory lane.... very nice
