Memory Lane Part 2 Poem by Pau Autor

Memory Lane Part 2

There came a tapping on my windowpane,
surprised to know that it was Mr. Dane,
I cried a tear, he said: 'don't cry Elaine'.
He held my hand, and went to lover's lane.
As we walked, he gave me a paper plane,
it's a letter saying: 'goodbye Elaine, do not wait for me
I'm with Mary Jane'.
Tears streamed down my face I am on the wane.
I felt my heart was beaten with a cane,
someday, I'll be over you, Mr.Dane!
You are my life's biggest, yes, biggest bane!
I took a trip down the memort lane,
I remember the man named, Mr. Dane.
I remember him and his paper plane.
