memories that hurt

Memories that hurt
Memories are meant to be joyful
When you think of that person
you love
The memories that should
run in you are memories
of joy.

what happened to me
All memories I have of
you
are of pain
Not because you hurt me

But because im lost without you
all memories of joy turn to pain
because no one can give me
the same memories that you give me

I need you to come back
and clear my heart give me the joy
we shared
You my daily memory

Dont want to hurt anymore I just want you back

my memories our memories can erase all the memories that hurt me

Poem of the Day

poet Dante Gabriel Rossetti

A little while a little love
The hour yet bears for thee and me
Who have not drawn the veil to see
If still our heaven be lit above.
Thou merely, at the day's last sigh,
