Memories History Victimized Poem by Miroslava Odalovic

Memories History Victimized

The discourse of a disconnected speech
Patterned against oblivion
Mind quanta magna lava space
Spilling over the mountain edges
Fragmental cracks on the desert skin
Temptation rejected over and over again
No power no array no captive curse vain
For the streamlight of the sky
For a sunlit clock of time
Eternity rejected memories victimized
‘No more history lesson to teach.’
The Teacher said
Closing the no name register book
Blacklisted dates forgotten
The battles have never been on pages
The battles have always been won
Always been lost deep within the heart
