Memories From A Rose Poem by Daniel Denani

Memories From A Rose

I remember every single word
I’ve found lost in the air
And I remember every pride’s droop
Trying hard to change what was fair

I remember the ascent of your perfume
Impregnated in the most deep of my heart
And I remember the whispers of your laughs
Making my future runs even harder and hard

But for a reason I just cannot understand
I can’t remember the last time saw you
And so my memories dance deep in my head
Giving me feelings that I’m not sure if they are true

But I can tell you it will never take me apart
And I must discover there is no reality in the past
And I must know that there is nothing to regret
Since I can take a good care of you from the petals of those flowers
