The memories of yester-years

Linger in my mind

Moments that have captured

Every beat within my heart


A blushing child...hidden deep inside

To be young....

And full of innocence

And embracing the wonders of life

Instead of feeling so unworthy

And hiding in shadows of plight


There have also been some good times

But so far inbetween and few

But now.....right at this moment

I know I'm worth it.... do you
