Memories Poem by Nudershada Cabanes

Memories

Rating: 5.0

Memories gather like dust
Fading slowly into dark recesses
Blurring in the passing time
Drifting hazily to oblivion
Where everything melts away
Forgetting seems easy
With the locking of door to memory
Time heals all wounds
A day to remember shall come
When the heart has mended
When the pain is gone
When the tears have dried
Like wilted leaves in the fall
When new blossoms are blooming
Revelling in the warmth of spring

It is our memories that often keep us prisoners in this life. Healing comes with time. Some memories keep us from the beauty of life and love.; others bring us into harmony with it.. A poem to remember. 10

This is amazing that memories gather like dust and fade like colour. When new blossoms keep blooming at that time memories bring spring in life. Beautifully penned poem is shared.10
