Memories Poem by Tara Acharya

Memories

Memories so vast
Memories so vivid
I wish I never parted
I wish I could grasp
But then life moves on
In search of new paths
Memories are gifts
Gifts of the past
The smiles we shared
The tears we shed
Clutching each other
The walk on the road
Whispers that only we could hear
Ice-cream in the rain,
Journey’s in the train
Gossips & crushes
Shopping for dresses
A beautiful world
The world we owned
Forever they’ll be dear
Memories of the past

Dedicated to 'Ritu' my friend, my Admirer
