Memento Poem by Besa Dede

Memento

Rating: 3.8

And the song of the Finch,
awoke me from my sleep.
From the open window,
the wind sent me sweet whispers of the leaves.
The poplar had blossomed during the night,
and the pavement was covered with a snow of flowers.
The air was imbued with fragrances of reincarnation.
I wholeheartedly welcomed
the spring ..
