Melodious Fascination. Poem by Hannah York

Melodious Fascination.

Sparking imagination,
Following the thread of turning minds,
The wide eyed wonder of a grasping child,
Parted lips in admiration.
Enthralling rapture,
Of an enchanting kind.
Captivated urchin.
Minds riveted,
Fingertips reaching
Breaching the gap, ,
Making possible the unachievable.
Staring off into far off worlds,
A trail of thought,
Wandering eyes.
Thoughts aghast,
Ears astounded,
Tingling fingers,
Restraining impulse.
Captured minds unravel davincis puzzles,
Manets paintings understood,
The world is put to rights.
All of this is easily possible,
If only we understood.
