Melancholy Of A Vampire Poem by Arwen Lee CW

Melancholy Of A Vampire

Come to me...
don't be afraid of
my fangs and my claws

don't quick judge me by my grissom grin
you may not penetrate my iron skin
but you can easily smash my long brittle heart

It's warm red blood
runs beneath my cold pale skin
It's mortal vulnerability
wrapped in an immortal flesh shell

I have no fear of
extreme heat or burning fire
the distance between hearts
is the only thing sets me in eternal hell
