Meeting With The Npc Poem by Justin Gildow

Meeting With The Npc

You all might think you're the prettiest girls around
And you all may think you run this town
Or some other particular city
Breaking hearts and stabbing backs
And many other quiet yet quick attacks
While hiding behind an innocent smile
And doing your best to look and sound pretty

New Pretty Committee
New Power Clique
It's all the same to me
You're all the same to me

Your fingernails are painted
And your hair is worn straight and down

Let's play a card game
Let's try for a three card trick
Try to learn
Try to make it to the end
Try to make it without trying or faking to be sick

A tommy gun sits beside me
While you girls have your lip gloss and makeup in your purses
I'm prepared to go at it with you girls if you all do so desire

There's heroes and villains
Heiresses and the working class
You girls have your side
I have my side

Love, War, Vanity, and Pain
Add in the coming of the rain
And it's all just the same
It's all just the same girls
To me, you girls are all the same
