Meeting Poem by Soumita Sarkar

Meeting

A word reels and grills
All around like a woven
piece of woolen pattern
Puncture it deep down
To find but an absolute
Disarray of broken frames
Such light frames I saw in dreams
I tried to collect these coloured
Pieces of happy songs unseen
Who shall not gather them?
Who shall not bother them?

Numbed limbs
Lame wings
Broken legs and
Hollow courage

YOU see me from a distance
I see you holding a song
This song is ours
Its notes we share

This partition
This gross mismanagement
This line of dissociated
Worry hoarding a message
When shall we meet? ?
